User Roles and Permissions

Each person you invite can be assigned a role:
  • Admin: full access including billing and settings
  • Coach: can view all sessions, stats, and players, and can edit and manage sessions
  • Member: view-only — can see sessions and stats but can’t edit or manage them
Player is not a role you assign. It appears on Settings → Users when a member is linked to a player on a teamsheet, and they land on their own player dashboard (clips, stats and profile) when they sign in. Roles apply to the whole account: a coach sees every team, and cannot be limited to one team or age group. Only admins and coaches can report a problem with a session, cancel an analysis, or get credits back. A member who opens Problem with this session sees Ask an admin at your club instead. See Problem With a Session. Admins and coaches can both use Settings → Automatic Uploads, including Pause, Permissions and the Custom rules page. Connecting, changing or disconnecting a footage source, the analysis settings and the team sheet source are for admins only: a coach sees them on the page without the buttons.

Managing User Permissions

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Open the Users page.
  3. Select a user to change their role (Admin, Coach, or Member).

The Permissions page

Settings → Permissions has four tick boxes that apply to everyone on the account. Coaches and admins can tick or untick them, then press Save.
  • Players can only view their own stats: players cannot see each other’s stats.
  • Players cannot view teams tab: hides the Teams tab from members.
  • Disable WhatsApp comment notifications: stops the WhatsApp sent when someone is @mentioned in a comment. Other WhatsApps are not affected.
  • Ask players for their height and weight: players are asked right after they join, before they can use the app; the readings show in your player database.

Notifications

Each person sets their own under Settings → Notifications; admins cannot change them for others. Each section (Game notifications, Billing, Help getting set up, Keeping your club on track and New features) has an Email box, a WhatsApp box and an SMS box. Tick or untick them, pick from each dropdown, then press Save. You are asked to confirm before a box turns off. The WhatsApp boxes are unticked in every section if you chose Not now when you joined, or if you replied STOP to a Framesports message. The SMS boxes are unticked in every section if you replied STOP. To start getting them again, tick the boxes you want and press Save. Only the boxes you tick come back on.
  • Footage uploaded: Don’t notify me about new footage uploaded, Notify me but only about footage I uploaded or Notify me about all footage uploaded to my account.
  • Stats ready: Don’t notify me about new stats being ready or Notify me about any games that have stats ready.

Ask Framesports conversations belong to the person who had them, and teammates do not see them. Presentation comments can be read by anyone who can view the presentation, including anyone with the share link. Your support chat through Contact us goes to the Framesports support team only. Roles on this page do not change any of that. See Who can see your chats.

Yes. Invite them as a member. A member sees every session and every player’s stats. For a player’s own clips, share the link the player received.
Ask them to untick WhatsApp in each section under Settings → Notifications and press Save. Admins cannot change it for them.
Open Settings → Notifications and check that WhatsApp is ticked in the section you expect the message from. The WhatsApp boxes are unticked everywhere if you chose Not now when you joined, or if you replied STOP to a Framesports message. Tick the ones you want and press Save to start getting WhatsApps again.
