Session Overview

A session is any piece of footage you upload to Framesports for analysis, whether that’s match footage or training footage.
  • Match sessions: competitive fixtures (league, cup, friendlies), trial matches, or any recorded match
  • Training sessions: practice runs, drills, or any recorded training activity
Both types can be manually clipped, but only match sessions receive full data collection and event labelling (tackles, carries, passes, tries, turnovers, and more). To get started, connect a video source and upload your first session.

Deleting or Archiving a Session

  1. Go to the Sessions tab and click on the session.
  2. Click on the settings for that session.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of settings and press Archive.
To bring a session back, open the three dots (⋮) at the top right of the Sessions tab, choose Archived sessions, then press Restore on the session.

Which Sports

Framesports is built for rugby union. We set sevens up as its own account. Email support@framesports.ai or use Contact us in the app (the menu under your name at the bottom of the sidebar) before your first session. The sport cannot be changed later, so a team that plays both union and sevens runs two accounts. Rugby league teams use a union account; league games are analysed with the union event set, so lineout stats stay empty. Football and other sports are not supported.

Yes. We set sevens up as its own account. A sevens session costs fewer credits than a 15s session. Email support@framesports.ai or use Contact us in the app before your first session. The sport cannot be changed later, so a team that plays both union and sevens runs two accounts.
No, rugby only.
A session is any piece of footage you upload to Framesports for analysis, whether that’s match footage or training footage.
  • Match sessions: competitive fixtures (league, cup, friendlies), trial matches, or any recorded match
  • Training sessions: practice runs, drills, or any recorded training activity
Automatic uploads stopped for your club (it cancelled, its subscription ended, or it paused) before this session’s analysis started, so we didn’t analyse it and you weren’t charged. Get in touch if you still want it analysed. A session that was already being analysed when uploads stopped is still delivered.
You can upload training footage as a session and manually create clips from it to review and share specific moments. However, training sessions can’t currently be analysed. Full data collection and event labelling (tackles, carries, passes, tries, etc.) is only available for match sessions.
Both types can be uploaded, stored, and manually clipped. The key difference is that only match sessions can receive full analysis with event labelling, player statistics, social media content, WhatsApp clips, and development plans. Training sessions are available for clipping and review but do not receive event-level data collection.
It means your club reported a problem with that session and we are working on it. You see it on the session’s header and on your sessions list. Click it on the session to see when you reported, when to expect the fix and who we will email. See Problem With a Session.
