Uploading Footage

There are two ways to get your footage into Framesports:

Option 1: Manual Uploads

You manually upload links to footage or files, enter information like your player names or teamsheets, and submit for analysis.
  1. Go to the Sessions tab in Coach view and press New Session.
  2. Paste a link to your footage or upload a file, and fill in the session details.
  3. Press Upload to submit.

Option 2: Automatic Uploads

Framesports automatically detects new footage from your connected video source (e.g. Veo), matches it to your team based on filter rules you set up, and submits it for analysis without any manual steps.
  1. Go to Settings → Automatic Uploads and connect your video source.
  2. Create filter rules that describe your team (name, gender, age group, side).
  3. Framesports checks for new footage every few hours and automatically analyses anything that matches your rules.

Supported Platforms

Framesports integrates with several video platforms so you can easily get your footage into the system for analysis. This means you don’t have to upload large video files manually, just paste a link. It also allows us to integrate directly with your video source for automatic uploads. We currently support the following platforms:
  • Veo
  • Hudl
  • YouTube
  • Google Drive
  • Staydia
  • DoubleTake (Australian users only)
If you’d like to connect a source not listed here, contact support@framesports.ai.

Automatic Uploads

Framesports links to your footage source and pulls new recordings as they appear. It then matches each recording against the filter rules you’ve set up to decide whether it should be uploaded for analysis or ignored. Only footage meeting your exact rules is analysed.

Wrong Footage Uploaded Automatically

This system is used by hundreds of teams and is highly accurate under normal conditions. If incorrect footage is ever automatically uploaded due to a filtering error on our end, you will receive a full refund, no questions asked. If you think your footage has been wrongly uploaded, contact support@framesports.ai to receive a full refund for your credit.

Automatic Teamsheet Detection

Framesports finds your teamsheet online by searching league websites, rugby databases, and social media. This allows us to send post-match clips to the correct players and collate multi-match data. If we can’t find your teamsheet, we won’t enter it automatically and you can add it yourself while the session is processing or after the analysis is ready. You can do this by clicking on the session, going to Settings, and editing the teamsheet names. Your players will still receive post-match clips if you do this.

Automatic Upload Speed

New footage can take up to 12 hours to be automatically uploaded, but is normally much faster. You’ll be notified via WhatsApp and email when a session matching your rules begins analysing, and again once the analysis is complete.

Checking Upload Progress

If your footage hasn’t been automatically uploaded yet, you can check on its progress:
  1. Go to the Automatic Uploads tab in Settings.
  2. Click on Connected Sources and click Manage next to the source.
  3. Look at the list of footage to see the current state of its upload.
  4. If you have the link to your footage or you have the file and want it uploaded quicker, go to the New Session button in Sessions and paste in the link to your footage. Our automatic uploads system will see that you’ve uploaded this and will not upload a duplicate.

Pausing Automatic Uploads

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Go to Automatic Uploads.
  3. Press the On button to switch your automatic uploads to paused.
