Framesports’ data is collected by our analysis team from your footage. It’s accurate the vast majority of the time, but occasionally an event can be mis-tagged or attributed to the wrong jersey number. You don’t have to live with it. There are three ways to put it right, depending on what’s wrong.
What’s wrongWhat to do
A stat or event looks incorrect (“you got X wrong”)Flag an error on the clip
The event is attributed to the wrong player (“that’s not me”)Edit player number on the clip
The whole roster / who wears which number is wrongEdit the teamsheet

Flagging an Error (“You got X wrong”)

If an event has been mis-tagged (for example it says negative carry but it was clearly a positive carry, or a tackle has been counted that didn’t happen), flag it for our team to review and correct:
  1. Open the session and find the clip in the clip list (or the clips panel on the right-hand side of the game viewer).
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the clip.
  3. Click Flag an error.
  4. In the Report an Issue dialog, describe what looks wrong in as much detail as you can (e.g. “This looks like a positive carry but it says negative”).
  5. Click Submit Feedback.
The clip is flagged for review and sent to our analysis team, who will check it against the footage and correct the data. Once corrected, the stat updates automatically wherever it appears.

Reassigning an Event (“That’s not me” / wrong player)

When an event is on the right action but attributed to the wrong jersey number, you can reassign it yourself, with no need to wait for a review:
  1. Open the session and find the clip.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the clip.
  3. Click Edit player number.
  4. Enter the correct jersey number and click Reassign.
A few things to know:
  • Only the single clip you’re editing is reassigned. Reassigning one event doesn’t move every clip on that jersey number.
  • If the jersey number you enter already belongs to another player, Framesports will tell you whose number it is, but you can still save through it.
  • The player’s stats update straight away to reflect the change.
  • Only coaches and admins can edit player numbers. If the option is greyed out, you don’t have edit access on that game.

Editing the Teamsheet

If the problem is bigger than one clip (the wrong player is mapped to a jersey number for the whole game, or a name is misspelt and isn’t collating), fix the teamsheet. This corrects the jersey-number-to-player mapping the data is collated against:
  1. Go to the Sessions tab and click on the session.
  2. Click Settings for that session and open the Players tab.
  3. Edit the jersey number and name next to each player, then save.
A green dot next to a player’s name means they’re correctly linked to a user on your account; a red dot means they aren’t linking. If a name is spelt correctly, the player is a user on your account, and it’s still red, email us at support@framesports.ai and we’ll get it sorted.

Can I add or delete events myself?

Coaches don’t add or delete tracked events directly. This keeps the underlying data consistent across every player, team, and multi-match view. Instead, corrections flow through the tools above: flag an error for anything mis-tagged (our team fixes it), or edit player number to reassign an event to the right player. Every stat is recalculated from the corrected events, so once a correction is made it’s reflected everywhere automatically.

  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the clip.
  3. Click Flag an error.

Reassign the event to the right jersey number:
  1. Open the session and find the clip.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to the clip.
  3. Click Edit player number.
  4. Enter the correct jersey number and click Reassign.
Only that single clip is reassigned, and the player’s stats update immediately. Only coaches and admins can edit player numbers.
No. Edit player number only reassigns the single clip you’re editing. If several events are on the wrong jersey number, reassign each one. If the whole jersey-to-player mapping is wrong for the game, edit the teamsheet instead.
Only coaches and admins can edit player numbers. If the option is disabled, you don’t have edit access on that game. Ask an admin on your account to make the change or to update your permissions.
Fix the teamsheet:
  1. Go to the Sessions tab and click on the session.
  2. Click Settings for that session.
  3. Scroll to the teamsheet and make your edits.
This corrects the jersey-number-to-player mapping the data is collated against.
No. Coaches don’t directly add or remove tracked events, which keeps the data consistent across every player, team, and multi-match view. Use Flag an error for anything mis-tagged (our team corrects it) or Edit player number to reassign an event. Stats recalculate automatically from the corrected events.
