The Individual Development Programme (IDP) is an AI-powered training recommendation system built into Framesports. It analyses a player’s recent match statistics, identifies their key strength or biggest area for improvement, and creates a personalised training plan with specific drills for the week.

How the IDP Works

The IDP regenerates approximately every 5–7 days, or after a new game is analysed. Each plan is based on the player’s most recent match data, so recommendations evolve as performance changes.

What’s in a Plan

Each IDP plan includes:
  • Focus area — the specific skill being targeted (e.g. tackling, ball carrying, passing accuracy)
  • Focus type — whether it’s building on a strength or addressing a weakness
  • Reason — why this area was selected, based on the player’s stats
  • Percentile ranking — how the player compares to others in this skill
  • 2–3 recommended drills — specific exercises with sets, reps, equipment needed, and difficulty level
  • Drill explanations — why each drill was chosen for this player’s specific needs

Notifications

When a new IDP plan is generated, the player is notified via WhatsApp (if they’ve signed up with a phone number). The notification includes a summary and a link to the full details.

Accuracy

IDP accuracy improves with more match data. If a player has only had one or two games analysed, the recommendations may not be fully representative. If you believe recommendations are clearly wrong, contact the team with the player name for a review.

Yes. When a new IDP plan is generated, the player is notified via WhatsApp (if they’ve signed up with a phone number). The notification includes a summary of the plan and a link to view the full details.
IDP accuracy depends on having enough match data. If a player has only had one or two games analysed, the recommendations may not be representative. The system improves with more data. If you believe the recommendations are clearly wrong (for example, suggesting tackle drills for a player with 95% tackle success rate), contact us with the player name and we’ll review the algorithm’s output for that player.
