What the Ask AI Assistant Does

The Ask AI Assistant lets you ask questions about your sessions in plain English and get answers, clips, and charts back instantly. You’ll find it on every page — it lives in a dock at the foot of the screen. Open it by clicking the Ask Framesports launcher, or press ⌘/Ctrl-L from anywhere; press Esc to close it. Today it can:
  • Answer questions about your data — ask things like “how did we do at the breakdown?” and get an answer drawn from your analysed sessions.
  • Find and play clips — ask for “our positive carries” or “missed tackles in the second half” and it returns the matching clips, ready to watch. You can narrow by event type, player, team, and session.
  • Chart your stats — ask it to chart a metric (for example tackle success rate or kick metres) across sessions, opponents, or players, and it builds the chart for you.
  • Assess strengths and weaknesses — ask “what should we work on?” or “how do we beat this team?” and it compares your side to what’s typical for club teams and names the clearest strengths and areas for growth.
  • Suggest training drills — it can recommend drills from the player-development library.
  • Explain stats and rules — ask what a stat means and it pulls the definition from our glossary.
The Ask AI Assistant is available on paid plans. If you’re on a free or unsubscribed account you may not see it — contact support@framesports.ai if you’d like access.

Things It Can’t Do Yet

The assistant is improving quickly, but a few things aren’t available yet:
  • Building or saving a clip playlist for you (you can still save clips yourself — see Watching & Clipping).
  • Making changes on your behalf — it only ever reads your data, so it can’t create clips, edit stats, or send messages for you.

Usage Limit

The Ask AI Assistant is available on paid plans, and each user has their own daily usage allowance (Pro and Enterprise are effectively unlimited). If you reach your limit, the assistant tells you when it resets and gives you a Message support button.
