Framesports auto-generates social media highlight videos from your game footage after each analysis. You can also create custom videos by selecting clips, adding transitions, and choosing aspect ratios for different platforms. Sponsor logos are automatically overlaid on all videos.

Auto-Generated Videos

After each game is analysed, the system creates several videos automatically:
  • All tries compilation — every try from the match in one video (landscape, long-form)
  • Individual try shorts — one short-form video per try (portrait, for Reels/TikTok)
  • Top player highlights — highlight clips for the top 3 players by MVP score (portrait, long-form)
  • Best tackles compilation — all positive tackles from the match (landscape, long-form)
  • Stolen lineouts — opposition lineouts your team won (landscape)
Short-form videos are rendered in portrait (9:16) for TikTok and Instagram Reels. Long-form videos default to landscape (16:9) for YouTube and Facebook.

Creating Custom Videos

Use the video wizard to create your own highlight videos:
  1. Select a game
  2. Choose your aspect ratio
  3. Pick short-form (up to 3 clips) or long-form (all matching clips)
  4. Select content type — team tries, player highlights, tackles, carries, lineouts, or a mix
The system automatically selects the best matching clips from the game. You can then edit, reorder, and trim individual clips before generating.

Aspect Ratios

Four formats are available, optimised for different platforms:
  • Portrait (9:16) — Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
  • Square (1:1) — Instagram feed, Facebook
  • Feed Portrait (4:5) — Instagram feed (optimal size)
  • Landscape (16:9) — YouTube, Twitter/X, Facebook

Transitions

Choose from 20+ transition effects between clips. Options include zoom effects, glitch effects, 3D effects (cube, doorway, grid flip), motion effects (swirl, ripple, wind), film burn, and classic broadcast styles (fade, crosswarp, morph). Transition duration is configurable.

Clip Editing

Once your video is created, you can:
  • Trim individual clips by adjusting start and end points
  • Reorder clips by drag-and-drop
  • Action keyframes — set focus points at different timestamps so the camera crop dynamically follows the action. This lets you track player or ball movement within the frame, even when the source video is wide-angle
Sponsor logos are automatically overlaid on your videos. Choose where they appear: top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, or as an intro/outro. Multiple sponsors stack vertically and scale automatically. Upload and manage sponsors in Settings → Sponsors (see the Sponsor Branding page for details).

Generating and Download

Click Generate to create the final MP4 video. Generation runs in the background — you’ll be notified when it’s ready to download.

Frequently Asked Questions

Several videos are created automatically: an all-tries compilation, individual try shorts (one per try), highlight reels for the top 3 players by MVP score, a best tackles compilation, and stolen lineouts. Short-form videos are portrait for TikTok/Reels, long-form are landscape for YouTube.
Go to Social Media → Videos and use the video wizard. Select a game, choose your aspect ratio, pick short-form or long-form, and select the content type (tries, tackles, player highlights, etc.). The system selects matching clips automatically. You can then trim, reorder, and add transitions before generating.
Action keyframes let you control where the camera crop focuses within each clip. Click on the video preview to set a focus point at a specific timestamp. The crop smoothly transitions between keyframes, dynamically following the action — even when the source footage is wide-angle. This is useful for creating portrait or square videos from landscape footage.
Over 20 transition effects including zoom effects, glitch effects, 3D effects (cube, doorway, grid flip), motion effects (swirl, ripple, wind), film burn, and classic broadcast styles (fade, crosswarp, morph). You can adjust the duration of each transition.
