Auto uploads automatically detect new footage from your connected video source (such as Veo) and submit it for analysis without any manual steps. Once configured, every time you record a match, Framesports finds the footage, matches it to your team, and starts analysis.

Setting Up Auto Uploads

  1. Go to Settings → Automatic Uploads.
  2. Connect your video source (Veo is the most common).
  3. Create filter rules to specify which footage belongs to your team. You can filter by team name, gender (men’s/women’s), age group (senior, colts, u20, u18, etc.), and side (1st XV, 2nd XV, etc.).
  4. Save your rules. Framesports checks for new footage every few hours and only analyses videos matching all your rules.

How Matching Works

The system compares new footage metadata (title, date, tags) against your filter rules. Only footage matching all your criteria is picked up. Framesports also searches league websites, rugby databases, and social media to find published teamsheets and pre-fill jersey numbers and player names.

Pausing Auto Uploads

You can pause auto uploads until a specific date in Settings → Automatic Uploads. This is useful during the off-season or fixture breaks. Auto uploads resume automatically on the date you set.

The system compares new footage metadata (title, date, tags) against your filter rules. Only footage that matches all your rules gets analysed. For example, if your rules say “Men’s 1st XV Senior,” only footage tagged with all three of those criteria will be picked up.
If Framesports picks up footage that doesn’t belong to your team due to a filtering error, we’ll issue a full refund for that credit. Just let us know which game was incorrectly analysed and we’ll sort it immediately.
When auto upload detects a game, Framesports automatically searches league websites, rugby databases, and social media pages to find the published teamsheet. If found, it pre-fills the jersey numbers and player names. If no teamsheet is found online, you’ll be asked to manually enter your lineup.

If you have auto uploads enabled and your connected video source has new footage that matches your filter rules, it will be automatically analysed.
