Player Benefits

Aside from all other features, players receive a custom Player View of the platform which can be accessed by clicking in the top left corner and pressing Player View. This contains: AI Assistant Coaching:
  • Individual development plan
  • Recommended drills
  • Recommended matchday goals
AI Assistant Agent:
  • Automated highlight reels of themselves across all matches
  • Playing level generator which compares their metrics against players of a similar level across the world
  • Rugby CV generator which can be used to develop themselves as a player
Automated Post-Match Clips:
  • As soon as any game has finished processing, all players within that game receive an automated post-match WhatsApp and email
  • Contains all their clips from that game in a collated video
  • Rather than 2 hours of match footage, this might only be 90 seconds of direct events that player can watch
  • Includes the link to the full match replay and their individual development plan
  • Acts as an engagement tool which can be used to drive further development and team growth

Multi-Match Player Data

We use jersey numbers from the footage and teamsheets from the game to collate multi-match information on players and store their data to use in our algorithms and clipping.

Linking Your Account to Your Player Profile

When you sign up, Framesports links your user account to your player profile by matching your name to the name on your team’s teamsheets. If the name on your account doesn’t match the name on the teamsheet (for example you signed up as “Sam Taylor” but your teamsheet name is “Samuel Taylor”), the two won’t link, and you’ll see that the player “hasn’t signed up”. To fix an unlinked profile:
  1. Update your account name to match the teamsheet. Go to Settings → Personal Settings and set your name to exactly match how it appears on the teamsheet, then save. Framesports will re-link you automatically.
  2. Or ask your coach to update the teamsheet. Your coach can correct the name on the game’s teamsheet (see Editing a Teamsheet) so it matches your account.
If your name matches and you’re still not linked, email us at support@framesports.ai and we’ll link them for you.

Editing Jersey Numbers

If a player was given the wrong jersey number for a game, an admin or coach can correct it:
  1. Go to the Sessions tab and click on the session.
  2. Click Settings for that session and open the Players tab.
  3. Edit the jersey number next to the player’s name and save.
Correcting the jersey number re-attributes that game’s events to the right player.

Comparing Players

You can compare players side by side from the Players tab (your player database):
  1. Click the three dots (⋯) next to a player and choose Compare. This starts a comparison with that player selected and adds a checkbox to every row.
  2. Tick the checkbox next to each other player you want to include (up to five in total).
  3. Click Compare in the bar at the bottom of the screen to open the side-by-side comparison. Use Clear all to reset your selection.

Finding & Merging Duplicate Players

If the same player has ended up as two records (for example because their name was entered slightly differently on different teamsheets), Framesports can surface them as possible duplicates so you can merge them into one:
  1. Go to Settings and open Duplicate players (under Configuration).
  2. Review each suggested group of possible duplicates.
  3. Select the records that are the same person (keep at least two selected) and merge them into a single player. Their history is combined.
  4. If a suggestion is wrong, mark it as not duplicates and it won’t be suggested again.
You can also turn on a weekly duplicate sweep in the duplicate detection settings so Framesports keeps checking for new duplicates automatically.
Duplicate detection isn’t enabled on every account. If you don’t see Duplicate players in your Settings, it isn’t available for your account. Contact us and we can look into it.

Viewing a Player’s Linked Games

  1. Go to Account Settings.
  2. Go to the Users tab.
  3. Click Edit next to a user to view which games that user is currently associated with.

Missing Players in Coach View

This can happen for two reasons: Reason 1: The user isn’t signed up to your club account. To check this:
  1. Go to Settings and click Users.
  2. Scroll through the users to see if that player is there. If they’re not listed, you’ll need to invite them to your account first.
Reason 2: They haven’t been entered into any matchday teamsheets. To check this:
  1. Go to Settings and click Users.
  2. Click Edit next to the user.
  3. Scroll down to see what games that user is associated with. If no games are listed, they need to be added to a matchday teamsheet before they’ll appear in the Players tab.

Game Not Reflected in Development Progress

This happens because you weren’t linked to the matchday teamsheet for that game. To check this:
  1. Go to the Sessions tab and click on the game in question.
  2. Go to Settings for that game.
  3. Scroll down to the teamsheet and check if your name is there.
    • A green dot next to your name means you are linked as a user.
    • A red dot means it is not linking to you as a user.
If your name is accurately spelt, you are a user on the account, and it’s still not showing a green dot, email us at support@framesports.ai and we’ll get it sorted.

Missing Post-Match Clips

Post-match clips are delivered automatically by WhatsApp and email, so a player needs a valid email address or phone number on file to receive them, and they need to be linked to the matchday teamsheet for that game. First, check the player has contact details: go to Settings → Account Users, click Edit next to the player, and confirm they have an email address and/or phone number. Without one, we have no way to send their pack. Then, check they’re linked to the teamsheet:
  1. Go to the Sessions tab and click on the game in question.
  2. Go to Settings for that game.
  3. Scroll down to the teamsheet and check if their name is there.
    • A green dot next to their name means they are linked as a user.
    • A red dot means it is not linking to them as a user.
If their name is accurately spelt, they have contact details, they are a user on your account, and it’s still not showing a green dot, email us at support@framesports.ai and we’ll get it sorted.

Archiving a Player

This is often used when a player leaves your club or team through graduating or switching teams. Archiving will still allow you to access that player’s historical data without entirely deleting them. This can be done by:
  1. Click on the Players tab in Coach view.
  2. Click the three dots (⋯) next to a player’s name.
  3. Click Archive Player.

Editing a Teamsheet

  1. Go to the Sessions tab and click on the session.
  2. Click on the Settings for that session.
  3. Scroll to the teamsheet and make any edits.

Watching Your Game as a Player

  1. Login to Framesports.
  2. Go to Player or Coach view.
  3. Click on the Sessions tab.
  4. Click on the game in question.
