# YouTube Automatic Uploads

> Connect your club's YouTube channel with a sign-in, keep your games unlisted, and have every new upload imported for analysis on its own.

## How it works

Sign in with YouTube once, under **Settings → Automatic Uploads**, using the Google account that owns your club's channel. Framesports then reads your channel the way you see it and imports each new upload for analysis, matched against your filter rules like any other source.

Because we read the channel as its owner, your games **do not have to be public**. Upload them as **Unlisted**: nobody who isn't given the link can find or watch them, and they still import.

<Note>Works for **public** and **unlisted** videos. **Private** videos can't be imported: YouTube only shows a private video to its owner, signed in on youtube.com, so nothing outside YouTube can fetch it. Set those to Unlisted and they import on the next check.</Note>

## Connecting your channel

1. Go to **Settings → Automatic Uploads** and choose **YouTube**.
2. Press **Sign in with YouTube** and pick the Google account that owns the channel.
3. Allow Framesports to view your YouTube account. You're brought back to Framesports with the channel connected, and importing starts on its own.

Connect once per club. If you run several clubs with separate channels, connect each club's channel from that club's settings.

## How to make your videos unlisted

### A video you have already uploaded

1. Open [YouTube Studio](https://studio.youtube.com) and click **Content** in the left menu.
2. Find the video and hover over its **Visibility** column (it says **Private**).
3. Click the down arrow, choose **Unlisted**, then **Save**.

To change several at once, tick the videos, click **Edit** above the list, choose **Visibility → Unlisted**, and press **Update videos**.

### A video you are uploading now

On the last step of YouTube's upload window, **Visibility**, choose **Unlisted** instead of Private before you press **Save** or **Publish**.

### Every future upload

In YouTube Studio go to **Settings → Upload defaults → Basic info** and set **Visibility** to **Unlisted**, then **Save**. Every game you upload from then on is unlisted unless you change it.

## When your games appear

Framesports checks your channel every few hours. A game uploaded as Unlisted or Public shows up in your footage list on the next check, and a video you change from Private to Unlisted does the same.

## Reconnecting

If you remove Framesports from your Google account, or the sign-in expires, the YouTube source shows **Sign in with YouTube** again in **Settings → Automatic Uploads**. Sign in once more and importing carries on as before; nothing already imported is affected.
