# Introduction

> Data collection and analysis powers core components of our platform.

## Getting Your Footage Analysed

Get your footage analysed via [manual uploads or automatic uploads, detailed here](/sessions/video-sources).

## Analysis Duration

Standard analysis takes **12–24 hours**, but this can often be much faster. If you would like faster processing times for your footage, please contact [support@framesports.ai](mailto:support@framesports.ai).

## Checking Analysis Progress

1. Click on a session while it's processing.
2. If your raw video footage isn't ready yet, the screen will show the expected return time.
3. If the raw video footage is there but the analysis isn't ready yet, look in the top right corner of your screen for the green **Analysing** badge and tap it. It should give you the expected return time of the data collection.

## Expected Return Time Fluctuations

We base the expected return time on a large number of variables and try to give the most accurate estimate. If the expected return time is jumping significantly, please contact [support@framesports.ai](mailto:support@framesports.ai) to get a better update.

## Collected Statistics

We collect detailed data across individual players and teams, used to power all our algorithms. All data points we collect can be viewed by:

1. Clicking on a session in your **Sessions** tab.
2. Opening the left-hand sidebar.
3. Clicking through the data points.

## Player Identification

We use jersey numbers and teamsheets to link player names to their events. This allows us to collate multi-match player trends, send clips to the right players, and link users to their video.

## Viewing Session Statistics

It's easy to view your stats from a session:

1. Go to the **Sessions** tab.
2. Click on your session.
3. Open the left-hand sidebar to scroll through your data.
