# Tackle Involvements

Every tackle the player was part of: Dominant Tackles + Neutral Tackles + Tackle Assists + Missed Tackles.

## Where you see it

* The stat grid on an MVP card, headed **Tackles**.
* The **Tackles** slice of Action Breakdown on a player page, and the **Total tackles** bar.

## Why it differs from the Tackles tab

The two answer different questions, so the same player can show two numbers in the same session:

* **Tackle Involvements** answers "how much tackling work did this player do?", so it counts the assists and the misses as well as the completed tackles.
* **Tackles Made**, on the Tackles tab and in the player database, answers "how many tackles did this player complete?". Assists and misses are left out.

A player with 12 made, 7 assists and 3 missed has 12 Tackles Made and 22 Tackle Involvements.
