# Introduction

> Presentations are a core feature which enables collaborative analysis through video, data, and animations.

## Presentations Overview

Presentations are a core feature of Framesports which enables collaborative analysis and review of data and video footage. Presentations support four types of slides:

* **Clip slides**: video clips from any session. These can include custom clips that you've manually tagged or clips from data collected by Framesports. Clip slides support annotations like drawings and text to help with collaborative video analysis.
* **Text slides**: text-based slides for titles, section headings, or key messages. Position and format text with full control over size, colour, and alignment.
* **Animation slides**: tactical diagrams on a rugby pitch. Place players, cones, and balls on the pitch, then animate their movements between keyframes. Often used for lineout animations, backs move animations, multi-phase strike player animations, or set-piece movements like kickoffs.
* **Stat slides** (coming soon): statistical charts and visualisations. Choose from bar charts, line graphs, pie charts, KPI displays, leaderboards, and timelines. Filter by session, team, or specific players.
* **Import slides** (coming soon): directly import images, PDFs, videos, Keynote slides, and PowerPoint presentations.

## Rugby Pitch Animator

1. Go to the **Presentations** tab in Coach or Player view.
2. Press **New Presentation**.
3. Press **Add Animation** to create a tactical animation slide with a rugby pitch, player movements, and keyframes.

## Accessing Presentations

Presentations can be accessed in two ways:

1. By clicking the **Presentations** tab in Coach view or Player view and clicking on a presentation.
2. By clicking on an individual video within the Sessions tab and opening the left-hand sidebar, if there are any available presentations within that session.

## Creating a Presentation

**Option 1:** Go to the **Presentations** tab in Coach view or Player view and press **New Presentation**.

**Option 2:**

1. Go to an individual video of a match or training footage in the Sessions tab.
2. Click on the three dots (⋯) next to any clips in the right-hand sidebar, or create a new clip by following the steps in [Watching & Clipping Footage](/1.0/sessions/watching-and-clipping).
3. Press **Add to Presentation** and select the other clips you want to add to a presentation, then click **Create Presentation** at the bottom of the page.

## Recording a Voiceover (Coming Soon)

Recording a voiceover over your presentation — narrating what's happening with a built-in laser pointer — is coming soon. In the meantime, you can guide viewers using text and drawings on your clip slides (see [Annotations & Commenting](/1.0/sessions/annotations-and-commenting)).

## Downloading a Presentation

Downloading turns your presentation into a single video file you can share or upload anywhere. Here's how:

1. Go to the presentation in question.
2. Press **Download** in the top right corner of your screen.

Presentations download as a video (MP4), not as a PowerPoint or Keynote file. To share without downloading, use the share link instead (see below).

## Sharing a Presentation Link

Sharing links to your presentation makes sharing and getting access easy. Recipients can view the presentation in their browser without logging in if they are sent the URL. Here's how you can share:

1. Go to the presentation in question.
2. Click **Share** in the top right corner.
3. Share that URL with your desired recipients.

## Presentation Visibility Settings

To choose who can or can't view a **new** presentation:

1. Go to the **Presentations** tab and create a new presentation.
2. Click **Publish** and select if users across your whole club can view the presentation, or just you can see the presentation (it remains unlisted).

To edit who can view an **existing** presentation:

1. Go to the **Presentations** tab and click on a presentation.
2. Click the settings icon in the top left for that presentation.
3. Choose who can view the presentation.
