# Neutral tackle made

When the tackler loses the collision with the ball carrier, who falls forward.

Also called a Passive Tackle Made. Still a completed tackle, but the tackler is driven backward and/or the ball carrier dominates contact and falls forward before being brought down.

## How it's identified

* A completed tackle: the carrier is brought to ground.
* The tackler loses the collision: the carrier dominates contact.
* The carrier typically falls forward before being brought down.
