# Kicker - conversion

When the kicker attempts a conversion after a try.

A conversion is a kick at goal taken after a team scores a try. A successful conversion (the ball passes between the posts and over the crossbar) is worth 2 extra points. An unsuccessful conversion misses the posts or goes under the crossbar.
